Barnyard millet is known as Kuthiraivaali in Tamil. Grown by organic farmer groups in Pudukottai and Harur, processed in their facility.
Unpolished, with its natural dirty white colour with a black spot on the grain. This is very similar to little millet in taste and feel. Cook with 1:2.5 water in an open vessel, fluff gently with a fork before serving. A good rice replacement, perfect as variety rice, in grain bowls, salad bowls & more.
